                        Minipreneurs –super small scale enterprises.  Includes freelancers, web-driven entrepreneurs

                        Using websites like eBay or eLance to quickly establish a global presence (if you have connections)

SETTING THE STAGE FOR INVESTMENT

                  Grow  market share of  research funding

                   To support research in areas such as

                            Energy, health sciences and nanotechnolgy

    • Coordinate the work of researchers across SUNY campuses/public/private organizations
      • Innovative and highly marketable ideas
    • Create a team of researchers in different areas e.g. Energy, health and life  sciences

                        Develop a chain that links all the players into a fast-track process from concept to commercialization.

            The end result: new companies, new jobs, and the growth of a new economy.
