Monroe County Foreign Trade Zone

A Foreign Trade Zone is a specially designated area which is considered to be outside the customs territory of the US.

Foreign or domestic merchandise may enter the zone without a formal customs entry, or the payment of Customs duties or government excise taxes. When a final product is exported from the zone, duty taxes are usually lowered.

Monroe County has two designated general purpose sites at

The Entrepreneurs Network

The Entrepreneurs Network (TEN) is an innovative four-month program designed to optimize exposure to, and interaction with, leading local and national entrepreneurial experts.

TEN includes boot camps and workshops for members as well as panels events which are open to the public.
