SCORE is the premier small business counseling and advice organization in the United States. SCORE is a nonprofit, charitable organization composed of 11,500 volunteer business mentors, both working and retired, who offer free counseling to businesses from nearly 400 offices through the country.
As a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), SCORE operates in cooperation with the agency to provide business owners with information, resource and tools vital to their success. This includes free counseling and business advice on financing options, business strategy, marketing tactics, product development, cash flow, management and much more.
In addition to free counseling, the Rochester, New York Chapter of SCORE also offers low-cost, affordable workshops on a wide range of topics dealing with entrepreneurship.
